Barbara Buckner’s Selected Works I (1979-1981)

Barbara Buckner’s abstract, often silent video works, made throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s, explored the transformative properties of electronic image-processing technology. Three of these videos, Hearts (1979), Heads (1979), and Millennia (1981) are available to view through March 23rd.

Una vez al mes y por tiempo limitado, compartimos una película de nuestro catálogo, acompañada de una presentación en profundidad por una especialista. Para esta iniciativa, contamos con la colaboración de la Asociación Catalana de la Crítica y Escritura Cinematográfica (ACCEC).

Video Art Miden continues its online screenings in February, presenting 4 online video art programs accessible during the whole month, this time focusing on collaborations: the artistic directors of two very interesting and notable festivals, PROYECTOR from Spain (art director: Mario Gutiérrez Cru) and Over The Real from Italy (art director: Maurizio Marco Tozzi), are invited to present their selections, while Evi Stamou & Pietro Radin are invited to make a videopoetry selection and Olga & Gioula Papadopoulou curate a video tribute to the Balkans.
