  • Move Screen! Process Cinema! (Vol.1)

    Move Screen! Process Cinema! is a series of screening events that examine the forms and settings of cinematic projection. We will explore the variable use of the screen(s) and projector(s), the expression of film materiality, and the practice of photochemistry. We celebrate small film poems, hand-made films, experimentation in analog and digital practices, installation, live performance, and the kinds of miraculous moments that almost elude us and yet because of cinema, reappear.

    Door opens at 7:30pm; Screening starts at 8pm.

These “bedroom filmmakers” use camera phones, web cams, household items and intense creativity to create beautiful images and stories that go beyond realism- embracing fantasy, surrealism and even horror.
