When the programme was completed in 2011, analoge projectors were removed from the cinemas.

  • Fred Worden 16mm retrospective

    By on

Cinema Konsonant and Kino Ponrepo present a two-program screening in remembrance of Fred Worden, who passed away on March 7 this year. Fred Worden (b. 1946, New York), described as "post-1960s pioneer of cinematic optical investigation," spent more than five decades exploring what film preservationist Mark Toscano calls "the outer limits of our vision." Having studied under Pat O'Neill and Robert Nelson at CalArts, he experimented with a wide range of approaches to filmmaking, gradually developing a cinematic language increasingly detached from conventional representation.

    Dates:

Saturday, November 14, 2026 (All day)

    Venue:

Kino Ponrepo - Praha, Czech Republic
