The program of the IV Forum of the Movement of Images focuses on climate issues through works of experimental cinema and video art produced since the 1970s. It is through issues related to the representation of the landscape in different forms that the works have addressed ecological issues. Depending on the era and context, the films and videos have taken on different forms in relation to the dominant models of the time. These distinct approaches make the artistic works reflect both the changes in the medium and question narrative structures. Connections between previously separate forms such as structural films, militant films, documentaries, unfold in the form of the essay film and thus renew the ways of thinking and making cinema in contemporary times.

The selection of works for this exhibition is eclectic, but reflects the awareness of the urgency of taking into account not only the well-being of human beings, but above all their environment, which includes living beings, whatever their form, as well as the resources without which there would be no existence on this earth. Four film and video programs were composed, which indicate some trends that are at play in this field of artistic creation. The IV Forum of the Movement of Images brings a round table with curator and videographer Yann Beauvais, artist Edson Barrus Atikum, professor and researcher Angela Phryston and mediation by Liana Vila Nova.
