The Summer 2026 edition curated by the Pebbles Underground team presents the viewers with six programs of experimental and independent moving image works, featuring 48 films made by filmmakers from various backgrounds, and involving 21 different countries.

Unfolding across subjective and intersubjective realities of the filmmakers, the edition consists of feature and mid-length films, as well as shorts touching on constructed spaces, connection of self with reality, surreal performance and mise-en-scene, social parody, formal experimentation, and preoccupation with effects of technological progress and AI development on our societies—a topic that gradually became recurrent in all our editions.
