Spectacle Theater and Disassociative Productions proudly present “Disassociating with M. Woods”, showcasing the avant-garde practice of one of the most radical underground filmmakers working today.

This program will be a live, informal lecture/slide show with intermittent 16mm film projections that correspond with the presentation illustrating the initiatives of cinema-arts non-profit organization MONO NO AWARE. Lab Director Matthew McWilliams and Founder Steve Cossman in-person.

Curated by artist / filmmaker Kerry Baldry, One Minute Volume 3 is the third in the series of programmes of experimental works which thoughtfully engage with the concept of time in cinema, challenge traditional narratives and explore how much can be conveyed within sixty seconds. Since August 2024, Close-Up Cinema has been presenting these 12 volumes in reverse order, offering a unique retrospective that invites viewers to explore the evolution of this extensive project.
