    Melissa Dullius and Gustavo Jahn have been working with analog film since 1999. Both originally from Brazil, moved to Berlin in 2006 and started working together under the name "Distruktur”. Their films, mostly shot on 16mm, combine both fiction and personal archive, as well as observation and symbolic staging. In addition to the DIY approach to the production of their work, the actual projection is often accompanied by music or performance and also plays an important role in Distruktur’s artistic work.

    “Expanded cinema performance with two modified 16mm-projectors that reduce the essence of film and projection to the bare minimum: no image, sound or narrative.
