Experimenta, the international festival for experimental film and moving image art in India, invites filmmakers from Asia to submit their films.

Experimenta does not charge a submission fee.
The deadline for receipt of submissions is 5th July 2026.

Rhizome DC and Filament are accepting submissions for our third Film & Video Open Call. Artists and filmmakers from the DMV region are invited to submit short boundary-pushing, genre-defying, or experimental moving picture works for a screening in September 2026. Works shot or projected on film are encouraged to apply. In addition to digital projection, we will provide film projectors so that artists with Super 8 or 16mm prints have the opportunity to screen their work.
The independent film festival Otherworldly 3.0 is now accepting submissions. This season's main theme is transition.
We are looking for films that take place on the threshold and linger in the gap between what is here, what is no longer with us, and what is yet to come. We want to see how transition grows through the very fabric of the image — in editing, rhythm, sound, silence, and in how the camera touches the world or averts its gaze from it.

For the third year Moscow International Video Art Exhibition is pleased to announce the OPEN CALL to all artists working with video art, experimental film and filmed performance. Artists are invited to submit their works related to the subject of the LOST & FOUND.
For this edition, the Addis Video Art Festival invites submissions within an open thematic framework. Rather than prescribing a specific topic, the festival will encompass a wide range of artistic approaches, encouraging practitioners to engage critically and reflectively with video art as a medium of flow and flux, both as documentation and as a process of creation. It positions the moving image as a form capable of mirroring the complexities and nuances of lived experience.
