Self Portrait, Analogue Film Screening

Where film creates a space for liberation and reveal. In an act of self portrait the artist also mirrors society- distorting and freeing it. Archiving memory through vision and non linear time.

Lynn Loo (UK) is an international experimental filmmaker who explores the relationship between sound and image in film and video. She will be an artist in residence at Center (Tochigi/Japan) in March this year. She will be performing expended cinema and screening her latest work (Japan premiere). This will be a very rare opportunity to digest and trace Lynn's history.

The 5th Experimental Film Festival Process will take place from 17 to 21 May in Riga, Latvia. Organized by the artist-run film lab Baltic Analog Lab, the festival is dedicated to the diverse analog cinema practices employed by adventurous audiovisual artists from around the world. The programme comprises film screenings, live performances, installations, talks, and, of course, parties.
