The Revolutions per Minute festival (RPM Festival) is an artist-run festival that celebrates the importance of short-form poetic, personal, experimental works in various styles such as essay films, avant-garde, animation, documentaries, audiovisual performances and installations. This program selected works from the past five years, showcasing artists who have contributed multiple pieces throughout different festival editions.

Revolutions per Minute festival (RPM Fest) is dedicated to short-form poetic, personal, experimental film, video and audiovisual performance. We are looking for any work that experiments with the formal possibilities or hybrid form of film, audiovisual, animation and video under 15 minutes.

Call out for submissions for the upcoming 2nd edition of Revolutions Per Minute Film Fest (Jan 31-Feb 2, 2020). RPM is dedicated to artist cinema and audiovisual performance that challenge the boundaries of media. RPM Film Fest 2020 will take place at UMass-Boston and other locations in Boston.

Deadline:

Free submission deadline: August 15, 2019
Final deadline: November 1, 2019 (late submission fee $15)

Notification by December 15, 2019
