attaque[e]r le visible started in Paris at La Mutinerie in 2015. Today we are at home in the Raum für drastische Maßnahmen in Berlin. Both in Paris and in Berlin, the orientation of the platform was and is the same: it's about experimenting, about unusual images, about unconventional storytelling and thus about new topics, about non-conformist lifestyles or visions.
Ten years – that has to be celebrated! On 21 May we will be showing the sensational queer science fiction film “Flaming Ears” (1991) by Ashley Hans Scheirl, Dietmar Schipek, and Ursula Pürrer!
‘Flaming Ears’ is a queer science-fiction dystopia. Using raw Super 8 aesthetics and unconventional means, the film tells the story of the three protagonists Spy, Volly and Nun, who nervously, sometimes aggressively, sometimes tenderly, shred through the burnt-down city of Asche. Caught up in their own obsessions, they try to find their way around and settle down. This process is full of love, betrayal, jealousy, sex, and violence.
After the projection there will be a q&a with Ursula Pürrer.
