@nipponconnection is about to start next week in Frankfurt a.m. and we're excited to be part of the festival this year!

The first program focuses on the work of experimental film pioneer Takahiko Iimura. the second is a foreshadow for our festival focus on Utako Koguchi in September, screening works by fellow female filmmakers such as Yuko Asano, Mari Terashima, Hiromi Saiki & Junko Wada from that period.
